Going out as a family, it is hard to find places that everyone will like and that caters for young and old. And when it comes to having a bigger family, everything gets expensive. So we love to find places that we all love and that are inexpensive to visit.
Enter National Railway Museum which is in York. In fact, it is just behind York railway station so is super easy to get to if you're travelling via public transport. The National Railway Museum is free to get in to although I always think it's polite to leave a donation as they are a national charity and donations help the upkeep of their extensive collections.
